You asked me how I work, communicate, choose vendors, design and plan your lake Bled wedding…. Here’s the steps we go through to the magical wedding day.
HOW I WORK
Behind the awe and beauty of a Lake Bled wedding, it’s so easy to forget the event has to be crafted from a solid process (called wedding planning journey). For me, that process is so important because it’s the foundation from which we recreate the story of your love through every sense. By working through a structured approach, I ensure your experience with me is everything you hoped and more. Here’s how I work.
Our Connection
Your interest in me means I know we already have a connection. Sharing the same priorities for your wedding guarantees we already have much in common. From creative, elegant styling to attention to detail, together we’ll make your celebrations so special.
We’ll kick things off with a phone call. I’m so happy you like my work and I can’t wait to connect over the phone so we can see if we’re a good fit. Planning a wedding is such an intimate task. It’s really important we can work together as a team. In fact, by the end we’ll be firm friends so we have to choose each other. We each need to know that together we can create something special.
Our Relationship
On this journey I’ll be your friend, coach, PA – everything you need as well as your wedding planner! I’m here to turn your dreams into an event, to create and manage a celebration that’s a remarkable reflection of you both and your love. We’re working with unique, deeply personal ideas and big dreams to devise once in lifetime moments. In order to lead the practical execution of this with you and my team, I have to know you. You’ve put me in charge of some of the most treasured memories you’ll ever have. So the ‘getting each other’ works both ways. You’ve entrusted me with your dreams so it’s only right we make some time to get to know each other.
Our Communication
Most of my couples are from overseas but thanks to technology, distance will be no barrier. We can meet over video call, socials, you may even want to fly over – whatever you choose but that first time we connect in person is so important.
My job is to tell the beautiful story of your love. As we carve out a friendship, the creative ideas will begin to flow as I get to know you both and understand you as a couple. It’s this connection which enables me to bring your dreams, wishes and the story of your love to life in ways I know you’ll both adore.
Shaping The Vision (design service)
The next step is to begin to shape the vision. We’ll start to explore some of the big ideas to build a picture of what you envision for your wedding day. We’ll discuss the type of place you want to get married in, how you want your wedding to feel, what time of the day you want to get married and more.
Next we’ll begin to tease those down further by considering your preferences for things like: colours, fragrances, vistas, sounds and more. As we explore your wishes through the senses we’ll start to shape a vision that’s deeply personal to you.
A WEDDING UNIQUE TO YOU
These design stages are so important because I create spectacular, one of a kind events. Your wedding won’t be a re-hash or imitation of something that’s already been done before. I always plan every event from scratch. That doesn’t mean we don’t draw inspiration from things we’ve seen in the world around us but our goal is to wow. We want to create a moment – memories everyone will treasure forever.
Memories are all about sensory impact. I want your Lake Bled wedding to be a visual delight your guests experience through every sense so we have to be authentic, personal and innovative.
TRUST IN THE VISION
Creating something fresh and exciting requires trust. Trust in me, trust in you, trust in the vision. We won’t have a done-before photo to look at. We will have lots of sketches, models, drawings, mood boards etc. but we have to believe in each other.
That’s where our relationship comes in. We need to be able to trust each other. As the executor of your dream, you have to be able to trust me.
It is a step into the unknown but it should be! This is the biggest event of your life. Sure, you’ll feel nervous, in some cases you might be a little unsure about how it will all come together but that’s the excitement of every great occasion. There should be a sense of anticipation – it’s your wedding day! You want to be excited, to be dying to see how it all comes together, to be wowed along with your guests. This is the happiest day of your lives, I want you both to enjoy it too.
And so I ask you to trust me and trust our vision so you can soak in every moment of the most magical day of your life.
The Role Of Lake Bled Wedding Vendors
The wedding vendors are an important part of the process – axles to my wheels. They complete the finer details of our vision and together we make a flawless team. From the wedding cake to florals and music, I’ll bring you the very best suppliers. Having been a top wedding planner in Lake Bled for over 15 years, I have strong relationships with the vendors I use.
Each one is an expert in their field and as dedicated to fulfilling every wedding dream as I am. These are tried and tested vendors I greatly admire so you can trust them to execute their given element to perfection. I’ve worked with each vendor many times before so I match each couple to the vendors I know will work best for the experience they want to create.
Each vendor is highly experienced and will enrich our plans with their industry knowledge. These are important personnel who will further amplify your wedding with their specialist expertise. Together we’ll make an incredible team who work seamlessly to deliver every aspect of your wedding day. If you want to add someone new to the team, it’s vital I have time to review their work and approach. Putting together a team requires a balance of personalities and skills. Every one works in a different way and has their own strengths so it’s important I assess how the person would fit into the existing team first. A professional who connects with the team’s values, dedication and standards could be a great asset.
An Unforgettable Celebration
And yet there is another layer to our plans – the beating heart of them – your loved ones. We want to stir every positive emotion in your guests – to thrill and delight them with an experience they’ll remember forever. This, your wedding day should be the one everyone remembers – the best wedding they’ve ever attended.
To do this, we return to our plans with the guests in mind. Reviewing the day step by step from our guests’ point of view, we check how the experience works if you are a guest.
We review:

☆ Transitions: How have we moved them through each part of the day?

Maintaining Communication
As we build your dream celebration our communication is so important. To laugh, share, plan and support, we will use the methods of communication you prefer. Whether that’s video calls, phone calls, text messages, emails, we’ll stay in touch in the way you choose and have plenty of laughs along the way.
It’s crucial we can get in touch with each other so I place high value on ensuring I am available to you. Although there are times when we may need to communicate outside office hours, generally we’ll communicate during the working day. As the central contact for the event, I’m responsible for every schedule, person, detail and of course, budget management. That means whether it’s a query or contract, get in touch with me then I’ll contact the vendor. Maintaining this chain ensures every detail of your wedding remains on track.
Transparent Process
Every aspect of my work is transparent. I’ll keep you up to date with every ounce of progress and there’s always time for you to ask any questions you wish and review all we’re discussing. For example, you’ll receive original contracts so you can see every detail of the agreement we’ve made. Although I always endeavour to answer any questions and provide solutions as quickly as possible, the breadth of our plans and team means I’ll often have to carry out my own research first. For that reason, I answer queries within up to two days to ensure every response I give is accurate and well-informed.
