NEW: European countries requiring ETIAS!!!
30 European countries require visa-exempt travelers to have an ETIAS travel authorization
European countries requiring – ETIAS
New traveling requirements for couples from the United States, Great Britain, and other countries
It won’t be so easy to plan a wedding in Europe from 2024. Assuming you’ve started planning your Lake Bled wedding or honeymoon in Europe for 2024, then read this. European countries requiring ETIAS.
From 2024, every couple booking a wedding in Europe and their guests will need approval from the European Travel Data and Authorization System (ETIAS) before traveling to the wedding venue.
COUPLES WHO NEED ETIAS AUTHORIZATION
You will need an ETIAS Authorization if any of the following apply to you:
☆ You’re not a European Union national
☆ You don’t have a residence permit or card issued by any of the European countries that require ETIAS
☆ Some travelers may be exempted from the requirement for an ETIAS travel authorization, so check before you apply
☆ You’re a citizen of any country whose nationals don’t currently need a visa for a short-term stay in a European Union country (look at the photo)
HOW TO APPLY FOR ETIAS
Couples can get an application for support on the ETIAS website and will cost less than 10 euros. All application declarations will be made by e-mail, ETIAS understands that the approvals must be done soon. For longer applications, the processing time will be approximately four days but may take up to 14 days assuming the applicant is contacted to submit additional records. When the approval email arrives, couples will get a number that should be noted and should be valid.
Couples can stay in a European country that requires ETIAS approval for 90 days out of 180 days – and they must have a valid visa, regardless of the length of their visit. Gesture support is valid for as long as possible or until the gesture report used in the application expires (depending on the source).
Considering that this is a completely new cycle, the European Association encourages researchers to seek proper support before their planned trip. Couples should also be sure to verify that their name, visa number, and identification data are correct. Any mistake can cause problems when crossing the line. Couples should be aware that they will need both their visa and ETIAS approval to take a plane, train or ship entering a European country that requires ETIAS approval.
